2007 Freestone, Sonoma Coast. Medium ruby color; attractive, intense, spicy, cranberry, raspberry, and bright cherry fruit aroma that developed depth and complexity as it opened with airing in the glass; medium-full to full body; forward, rich, textured, cedary, spicy, black cherry fruit flavors; well balanced and firmly structured; medium to medium-full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows distinctive varietal character. Very highly recommended. |
